An agenda of forming new district under the name “Aizawl East District” was submitted at the General Conference held in Shillong during March 31 – April 3, 1994. General Superintendent, Rev.K.Satinvela gratefully inaugurated the Aizawl East District on May 8, 1994 at Bethlehem Church. All the Executive members were presented and this auspicious occasion was celebrated with a big feast on the following day, May 9, 1994.
